- Hello, my name is Lisa Durant and I have been sewing professionally for years. My great grandmother taught me at a very young age how to sew with her pedal sewing machine, I made quilts with her and got my first machine when I was in the 2nd grade. I owned and operated a Bridal Shop and also designed window treatments. After having girls I had taken a slight hiatus from sewing but now that my girls older I have decided to get back into what I love the most to sewing and designing. This is a perfect time for me to be creating trendy girls clothing. My girls are my inspiration even down to the name Jillian & Charlotte.
